Recently, the members of Zamboanga Earth Concern Outdoors (ZECO), attended the 28th MFPI National Mid-year Climb and President's Meeting held at Kidapawan, North Cotabato. The event lasted for 3 days starting October 28, 2006 and ended on October 30, 2006. During the said activity the members; Cherrylane U. Bautista, Rey Lumactod, Christopher A. Rovera, Reyg A. Sarte, Susette B. Solaran and Roger Vallejos, had undergone training on Basic Mountaineering Course which was conducted by Mr. Danilo "Danny" Sayson. It was hosted by the Provincial Government of North Cotabato, City Government of Kidapawan, Local Government Unit of Magpet and Guardians of Lake Venado.
